REMAX Hot Air Balloon

This past Friday (July 11) RE/MAX In Motion participated in Ithaca's RELAY For LIFE event at Lansing High School.  This is our second year. We give tethered hot air balloon rides in the official RE/MAX Hot air balloon to raise donations for the event.  We were a little worried that we weren't going to be able to get the balloon in the air because of the weather but at around 8pm we were able to inflate it and give some rides.  Click on the picture below to see a video of the balloon in flight....

How fun! I lived for a while in an area of Austria where a hot air balloon race took place every winter. It was very exciting to look out the window on a crisp, sunshiney day and see 20 hot air balloons cruising by.

Melissa, we do that as well.  It really is  agreat spectacle.   We do it for the children's miracle network.  Great job

Melissa - Congrats on what I am sure was an exciting event.  We have also used the balloon in Christmas Parades and we always get swarmed with kids.  Kids LOVE the balloon!

Ive been in a tethered Re\Max Balloon.  I always thought I would like to take a hot air balloon ride, but after the tethered ride,  relized it was not for me!!  It does draw a crowd.

Although I have never used one, they are a great crowd pleaser and agents that use them at community events say they work wonders,  Karen
